The Impact of Batik as world culture toward Indonesian society it can be seen clearly, nowadays a lot of people wearing Batik in certain days, such as, Batik Day and weekend days. Even the young generetion, they wear batik on their school uniform. This phenomenon can not be seperated by history behind of Batik itself. Start from Majapahit era Batik has good developmet until Batik known into national world. The United Nations for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) has important role in introducing Batik to international world as The Representative Of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Because of the technique and pilosophy inside of Batik itself. This is like breakthrough for Indonesia  not only Batik become famous prodact, but also open the new window for business world, because every year the value of national batik export always increase especially in last five years.
in other hand, Batik bring good impact to indoesian society.

INTRODUCTION

Do you know what happen in Indonesia on october 2 ???

Batik had a great day which is celebrated annually on October 2, the day is considered as recognition and respect for the existence of Batik in the world, because on that date six years ago UNESCO raised Batik as one of the world's cultural heritage on October 2, 2009 in Abu Dhaby. Batik day is celebrated every year. Agencies and companies ordered their employees to celebrate Batik day. Since six years ago in October 2 and every Thursday and Friday, people wear Batik, at work and everywhere,  becuase based on goverment regulations No. 53, 2009. This is one of the way, Indonesia converse Batik. Through this way Batik also give big impact to indonesian society.

The Impact of Batik as World Culture toward Indonesian Society, it can be seen clearly, nowdays a lot of poeple wearing Batik everywhere in certain days, even the new generetion. This phenomenon can not be seperated by history behind of Batik itself. Batik Indonesia began to develop in the 18th and 19th century as has been investigated by researcher, which at first develop in Java. Batik was originally develop in keraton environments, treated and used by people inside of keraton only. Then, Batik extends up out of the keraton, the female household work to fill their spare time by making Batik. Finally Batik that were once only used by people in keraton, can be used by community outside of keraton. The development of Batik in Indonesia also through several stages, the first stage in the time of Majapahit, the spreration of Islam, Batik-making outside of Java, and until Batik known by the international world.

RI Representatives and other member countries, such as United Emirates Arab, Turkey, Estonia, Mexico, Kenya and South Korea as well as UNESCO-Paris, plays important role in introducing Batik more widely to members of this event, so they more closely study the Indonesian Batik ducoments as nomination. UNESCO noted Batik Indonesia and one other proposal from Spain is the best nomination document and can be used as examples in the nomination of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in the future. The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) recognizes that Indonesian Batik techniques and the Pilosophy inside of Batik as identity of Indonesian people from birth to death, the baby carried in a patterned of Batik which has symbol brings good fortune, and died covered with Batik. Since Batik become world culture there are some values of Batik, and also the change of social concepts. In addition Batik gives a big impact to Indonesian society.

DISCUSSION

The meaning of Batik

The word Batik is quite popular among people in Indonesia, especially Java. No one knows who is the first person who introduced the word Batik to International world. Based on historical records, in 1705 a Dutchman named Chastelain had used the term "batex" (Batik) in a report to Governor of Netherlands Rijcklof Van Goens (Veldhuisen, 1999: 22). According Hamzuri in his book entitled Batik Klasik stated that ”Batik is a way to provide decoration on fabric by covering certain parts using barriers. Barrier substance that is often used is a candle or malam, The fabric already drawn using candle then given color by dyeing after that the candle removed by boiling the fabric. Finally produced a piece of cloth called Batik in the form of a variety of motives that have special properties (1981: VI)”.

Based on the understanding of Batik above, it can be said if a fabric using wax and a candle in the process although it does not have the Batik patterns, it can be categorizes as Batik.

The impact of social changes after Batik become world culture

Today the use of Batik increasingly diverse. Batik export market reached 125 million US dollars per year. About two million people depend on Batik business, from small and medium-sized traders and suppliers of Batik. All parties associated with Batik understand and agree to fight for Indonesian Batik can be recognized by UNESCO. They hope, with Batik has been admitted by UNESCO, the market (and the industry) Batik will be better than in previous years. In this context - Batik is not only distinctive culture of Indonesia, but the intellectual property of the Indonesian.

1.    People likes Batik

In modern times, Batik has been revolutionized. There are so many design of Batik which has undergone changes to design models of modern Batik clothes to be able to offset fashion. More beautiful and fashionable design began to be formed. The development of Batik has gained a good place in society. Now, people go to a fancy party despite using Batik as clothes or dress. Even officials state, civil servants, students in the school enjoy to wear Batik uniforms on certain days.

This Batik culture in order to survive Batik, many modern Batik design dress model with a new twist emerged to further broaden the choice for consumers. By combining traditional and modern concepts, Batik is able to make a breakthrough in homeland Indonesia mode. And hopefully this continues. Even now Batik made also in the form of a jacket, sandals, bags, and much more.

2.     Batik Patent

According to the law number 14 in 2001 on Patents, Patent is an exclusive right granted by the State to the inventor for the invention in the field of technology. Patents granted for a certain period due to carry out its own inventions or give consent to others to implement them. We happily welcome the inclusion of Indonesian Batik within 76 intangible world cultural heritage. It has a meaning that we have patented the Batik as an Indonesian cultural heritage. Although the 76 arts and cultural world heritage recognized United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Indonesia only contribute 3, which are Wayang, Batik and Keris, while China 21 and Japan 13 heritage.

Spirit to patent motif in these areas should be encouraged. We remember to Malaysia. For the sake of identity, the country was heavily claim Batik, reog, Pendet, some of the song titles, and angklung as its their own. We force Malaysia to apologize. With a variety of pretexts, they apologized even though at the same time they continue to look for gaps negligence. Kompas (31/8/2009) showed a strong reaction on wearing symbols of local culture of Indonesia in Malaysia tourism advertising. We are proud of our cultural wealth, otherwise we do not recognize and exploit it.

3.     Batik industries give contribution to national economy.

As if the windows wide open to Indonesia business world on October 2, 2009, UNESCO declared the Indonesian Batik as a world cultural heritage. Indeed, this is a challenge for us to lift Batik as one of the pillars of the economy. The declaration was able to evoke the spirit of "Ber Batik ria" in Indonesian society. Reportedly, in the number of Batik outlets, selling well. This is the euphoria of Batik. With more transparent language, Batik euphoria would be to bring a positive aura to the growth and development of the national economy.

Realization the export of Batik always increase in last 5 years, Ministry of Industry Data show the number of Batik business unit for five years from 2011 to 2015 grew 14.7% from 41 623 units to 47 755 units. Labor is the same, during 2011-2015 grew 14.7% from the 173 829 people into 199 444 people. Batik enthusiasts from around the world are also reflected in the increased value of batik exports rose 14.7% from the year 2011 amounting to Rp 43.96 trillion to Rp 50.44 trillion in 2015.

The United States has become the main export destination for Indonesian Batik with 37 percent of the total export market share. Indonesia has also exported batik to South Korea, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, Nus Nuzulia Ishak, Director General of the National Export Development at the Trade Ministry said on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Many people hope, euphoria Batik will be capable of hoisting national Batik export performance. Which in turn will promote economic growth and create employment . Textile industry remains one of the priority industries will be developed because it can make a significant contribution to the national economy.

CONCLUSION

UNESCO or the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization has endorsed Batik as an Indonesian cultural representation on October 2, 2009 in Abu Dhabi, Uni Emirates Arab. As you know, batik has been rooted in the history of the Indonesian nation. Batik patterns and motifs are very diverse, showing the peculiarities of each region. Today, Batik has become garments of various circles. Not only for Indonesia but Batik has spread to foreign countries. It is all a result of the recognition of UNESCO makes Batik become one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy. Now export activities batik has become routine for Indonesia. Export activity has become one of Indonesia's strategy to increase efforts Intangible Cultural Heritage to expand the market for Indonesian products. International World recognition of Indonesian batik also bring a positive influence to the widespread market batik in many potential markets Indonesia and even overseas. United States occupies the first position on Indonesian batik demand.

Batik is an Indonesian cultural products is very unique and has cultural richness that must be preserved and cultivated. Batik is also one potential solution to boost foreign exchange through the revitalization of small and medium industries. Batik has been around since the days of the Majapahit empire and then expand the right in Mataram kingdom, Solo and Yogyakarta. Bati fabrics are universal in many countries, even so, the world recognizes that Batik rapidly developing in Indonesia. Indonesian Batik is recognized by the world as a truly flawless beauty, both the design and manufacturing process. But it seems Batik which is Indonesian product  that represent culture of Indonesia.
